- Gosh it is so easy. It is 3 ingredients!
- 5 oz of mini marshmallows
- 2-3 tablespoon of water
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Place your marshmallows in a microwavable safe bowl.
Cover them in water.
You are going to microwave the marshmallows in 30 second increments for 3 minutes. After each 30 seconds you will stir them. By the 3 minute mark, there should be no lumps!
Sift your powdered sugar into the bowl 1 cup at a time. This way you can make sure it is not lumpy.
Once all of the powdered sugar has been sifted, begin to mix with your hands. I advise using a grease on your hands so that you can avoid the mostly unavoidable stickiness.
Once it is coming together, put it out on your counter and mix until it is a taffy like consistency. If it is too stiff, add a bit more water. If it is too soft, add some powdered sugar.
You add your food coloring to it and begin to work it in until it is the desired color you want.
You can then shape it into whatever you like!
